Presently Charity Relief Intl (Midwest Medical Teams is seeking to develop mobile medical clinics to assist the needy (poor and working poor, those who are struggling financially) with basic health care.
Generally one clinic will work in a geographical region rotating to several sites throughout the week. This rotation allows the clinic to get close to those in need and decrease the amount of time it takes for needy patients to get to the clinic. It also allows the clinic to be available to many more people than a stationary clinic.
The cost to run and construct a mobile clinic is usually less than a stationary clinic.
We hope to keep patient visits at about $10-15 per visit. Some patients will be able to get care for nothing if their financial needs are great.
The clinic will employ nurse practitioners and nurses and we hope to have extended hours and weekend hours to meet all needs.
